Gas Engine Exchange
The Director has been in the Power industry since 2000. Initially as the manager of a landfill gas site in the UK. The landfill site had a reducing gas curve and as the gas depleted smaller generating sets were needed. The high cost of a new generating set was prohibitive so the idea for Gas Engine Exchange was born.
Operating in the UK Landfill sector opened up into the Anaerobic Digestion Industry. This led into the European market where anaerobic digestion was a more firmly established technology. After this requests came in for natural gas engines from all over the world, for CHP projects in factories and public buildings, Greenhouses and capacity reserve (grid backup) projects. Now Gas Engine Exchange works globally with all types of engine from smaller 100 kW MAN gensets to MWM, JENBACHER, SCANIA, CAT, MTU, GUASCOR, PERKINS to 5 MW ROLLS ROYCE.

Since then we have been building the company across Europe and throughout the world. The specialist area of Gas Engine Exchange is gensets with 0 hours from cancelled projects or low hours good condition sets. However as time has gone on we now are involved in buying and selling used natural gas generators as well as used diesel generators, used gas turbines, used steam turbines, used ORC’s and used ancillaries for power plants such as heat exchangers, switchgear and transformers.
